While the cold weather wave continues to affect Hatay, an interesting natural event occurred in the Arpalıuşağı Neighborhood of Hassa district.

The cold weather that has been effective throughout the country has also made its effect felt in Hatay. The cold weather, which dropped below zero degrees at night, created a visual feast in the Arpalıuşağı Neighborhood of the Hassa district. Water leaking from the drinking water line of the neighborhood caused the pine tree to be covered in ice. On the other hand, the water channels in the neighborhood also froze due to the cold weather.

Ömer Çakmak, who stated that the pine tree was covered in ice, said, "There was no rain, the weather was cold. There was a break in the drinking water line here. When water leaked from there, it went all the way to the tree with the effect of the wind. The water froze on the tree with the effect of the cold weather."
