Afforestation efforts have been launched following the forest fire in Köyceğiz.
Muğla Regional Director of Forestry, Mustafa Ülküdür, inspected the 2,309-hectare burned area and inspected ongoing work on-site for the sapling planting ceremony. Regional Director Mustafa Ülküdür, Deputy Regional Directors Özgür Cılız, Ersen Çetin, and Adnan Güller also attended the event, where Köyceğiz Forest Operations Director Volkan Aydın provided information about the work being carried out on site. Ongoing felling operations and preparations for the sapling planting ceremony, which will be held on November 11th, National Afforestation Day, are continuing with the feverish work of the teams.
