A motorcyclist died after colliding with a bus in Silivri.
Motorcyclist Yavuz Ergün was tragically killed in a traffic accident in Istanbul 's Silivri district. The collision with a passenger bus returning to a gas station was captured on security cameras. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
The accident occurred near the Hamitbey bus stop in the Selimpaşa neighborhood of Silivri. According to reports, Yavuz Ergün, who was riding his motorcycle, collided with a passenger bus attempting to turn into a gas station on the street. The force of the impact threw Ergün onto the road, leaving him seriously injured.
Following a report, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After receiving initial treatment, Yavuz Ergün was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Security camera footage of the horrific accident emerged, and the bus driver was taken to the police station for questioning. A full-scale investigation has been launched into the accident.
