16 migrants on a rubber boat were caught in Ayvalık
Coast Guard Command teams took action in the waters of Ayvalık upon receiving information that there were irregular migrants on a rubber boat off the coast of Ayvalık.
Teams who went to the region with the "TCSG-905" and "KB-111" boats caught 16 irregular migrants trying to cross to Lesbos Island.
Food, clothing, medicine and medical supplies were provided to the immigrants brought to the Coast Guard Command on Cunda Island.
After the procedures, the irregular migrants were handed over to the Balıkesir Provincial Migration Management Center.
