Real Madrid Announce Alexander-Arnold

Real Madrid have announced the signing of defenderTrent Alexander-Arnold , whose contract with Liverpool has expired.

The Madrid team signed a 6-year contract with the English right-back.

It was also noted that since Arnold's contract expires on June 1, Real Madrid paid a symbolic transfer fee to Liverpool and announced the transfer in advance, thus paving the way for Arnold to play in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Coming to Liverpool's youth academy at the age of 6, Arnold played for Liverpool for 20 years and never played for any other team.

Announcing that he would be leaving the team on May 5, Arnold shared the following message:

"I want to say that this was not an easy decision and that it was a decision that was thought through and felt a lot. I spent 20 years here, I loved every minute of it, I fulfilled all my dreams, I achieved everything I wanted here."

Trent Alexander-Arnold scored 3 goals and 7 assists in 41 matches in the Premier League and Champions League last season.
