Play-off final series: Fenerbahçe Beko took a 2-0 lead

In the second match of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League play-off final series, Fenerbahçe Beko defeated Beşiktaş Fibabanka 84-76.
With this result, the yellow-navy team made the series 2-0. The third match in the final series, in which the team that wins four games will be the champion, will be played on Saturday, June 21st at the Basketball Development Center hosted by Beşiktaş.
Fenerbahçe Beko started the match fast, with points scored entirely by Birch, and achieved a 9-0 series in the 3rd minute. Beşiktaş Fibabanka recovered quickly, reducing the difference to four points in the 5th minute: 14-10.
Increasing the difference to double digits with consecutive baskets from behind the three-point line by Hall in the final minutes, the Yellow-Navy Blues finished the first period ahead 28-18.
Both teams had difficulty developing an organized attack in the second quarter. Fenerbahçe Beko, who dominated the Black-Whites with two outside shots and had a 16-point difference at one point, also went to the locker room with a 48-34 lead.
Fenerbahçe Beko, who did not allow the difference to fall below 11 points in the third period, which was the scene of mutual baskets, entered the last quarter ahead 68-55.
Beşiktaş Fibabanka started the last quarter well; quickly narrowed the gap with baskets scored by Sleva, Berk İbrahim Uğurlu and Terry. The black-and-white team narrowed the gap to five in the 39th minute with Mathews' accurate outside shot: 81-76.
Fenerbahçe Beko scored from the free throw line in the last part and left the field with an 84-76 victory.
