Creation Date: February 26, 2025 21:17
Hosting Çaykur Rizespor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup Group A, Trabzonspor expected a penalty in the first half of the match.
Following the position between Banza and Mocsi in the 27th minute of the match, the maroon-blue players objected to the referee Ümit Öztürk.
Trabzonspor players, who stated that Rizespor's Mosci fouled Banza in the penalty area, expected a penalty, but referee Ümit Öztürk allowed the game to continue.
Following these events, Trabzonspor shared the position and wrote "Shame on you!"

As the first half of the match ended, another post came from the claret-blue club.
The following statements were included in the post shared under the title 'The Central Arbitration Board has exhausted its zero!';
"There is no room for error in Turkish football. At this point, it has become clear as day how 'incompetent' and 'bad-intentioned' the local referees are.
As Trabzonspor Club, we brought up on December 17, 2024 that the current situation would constitute a 'national security' problem.
So much so that; the referee mistakes and the subsequent reactions of the clubs resulted in a match completed with 40 thousand security personnel in Istanbul.
These moments went down in history as one of the clearest images of how the institution of refereeing had completely gotten out of hand and become uncontrollable.
The Central Arbitration Board, which is the main responsible for all this disgrace, has lost its seriousness and credibility and has run out of resources.
We have a clear call for our country's football to the President of the Turkish Football Federation, Mr. İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu.
Take responsibility for the Central Arbitration Board and take the necessary steps regarding this 'shady' institution immediately. Tomorrow will be too late!"
