Official statement from Fenerbahçe: Kerem Aktürkoğlu is coming to Istanbul

Fenerbahçe announced that it has reached an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Kerem Aktürkoğlu.
Kerem Aktürkoğlu, whose transfer to Fenerbahçe has been a major topic on the sports agenda in recent weeks, set out for Istanbul to sign for Fenerbahçe.
Benfica announced on August 29 that a preliminary agreement had been reached with Fenerbahçe, and that the fee would be €22.5 million + €2.5 million.
The first official statement regarding the transfer from Fenerbahçe's X account is as follows:
Our club has reached an agreement in principle with Benfica regarding the transfer of national team player Kerem Aktürkoğlu. The player has been invited to Istanbul to further the transfer negotiations and for medical checks. We would like to inform the public.
Fenerbahçe Board Member Hakan Safi shared a photo with the player from a plane. The photo shows Aktürkoğlu wearing a Fenerbahçe jersey for the first time.
Aktürkoğlu, who transferred from Galatasaray to Portuguese club Benfica last season, scored 16 goals and made 14 assists in 53 matches across all competitions.
