National Women's Basketball Team defeated Switzerland

The national team started the match with a 9-0 series and finished the first quarter with an effective attack, leading 27-13.

The Crescent-Stars, who had a great advantage over their opponents under the basket, entered the halftime leading 51-34.

The national team did not allow the gap to close and won the match with a 24-point difference, 91-67, after leading 68-53 in the third quarter.

McCowan played a key role in the victory, recording a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Having achieved their first victory in the tournament, the Crescent-Stars will face Greece in their last match in the group on Saturday, June 21 at 20:30. In the other match of the group, France and Switzerland will face each other on the same day at 17:30.

Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu also watched the match in the hall.
