International football training begins! The journey to the World Cup

The Turkish National Football Team, which will face Georgia away on Thursday, September 4th, and Spain in Konya on Sunday, September 7th in the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers, will gather in Riva tomorrow.

The players invited to the national team will gather at the Turkish Football Federation's Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva starting at 12:00 tomorrow.

The Crescent-Stars will hold their first training session at 18:00 on the same day.

Following the training session in Riva at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, the Turkish National Team will fly to Tbilisi on a Turkish Airlines (THY) plane at 4:00 p.m. for the Georgia match.

The national team will hold a short walk at Boris Paichazde National Stadium, where the Georgia match will be played. National team coach Vincenzo Montella and a national team player will hold a press conference at 7:00 PM Turkish time.

SPAIN MATCH SCHEDULE

The Turkish National Team will travel to Konya immediately after the Georgia match to play against reigning European champions Spain in the qualifying group.

The national team will begin preparations for this competition with a training session on Friday, September 5th at 17:30 at the Konyaspor Kayacık Facilities.

Manager Montella and a player will hold a press conference at MEDAŞ Konya Metropolitan Stadium on Saturday, September 6th at 2:00 PM. The Crescent-Stars will also hold their final training session before the Spain match at 8:30 PM there.

The National Team delegation will return to Istanbul after the Spain match.
