Fenerbahce manager Mourinho: Our only goal right now is tomorrow's match

Speaking at the press conference held at Fenerbahçe Can Bartu Facilities before the match, the Portuguese coach stated that he watched "1" minute of Galatasaray's match in the first week of the league when asked.

Mourinho, who stated that he was following their upcoming league match against Göztepe, said, "I called this place hell. I know our fans can create a difficult atmosphere for opponents when they want. We played in a difficult atmosphere, too. The atmosphere tomorrow is in the hands of our fans. Mourinho stated that Talisca and İsmail Yüksek, whose treatments have been completed, will be in the squad for tomorrow's match and that these two players will add strength to them.

Mourinho, explaining that transitions are important for every manager in the world, said, "Transitions occur constantly throughout the game, and there will be many more in tomorrow's match. If you have fast players, you play accordingly; if you have slow players, you play differently. Transitions are important for everyone."

Mourinho stated that Feyenoord's league play would not be a disadvantage for them and continued:

"Our starting goal is to qualify for the play-offs. If we qualify, we'll qualify for the Champions League. We need to take it one match at a time. Looking back at last year, we were eliminated and continued in the Europa League. We were very close to that point. We played brilliantly away from home, losing on penalties and coming very close to making it to the quarter-finals. I think anything is possible when you reach the quarter-finals. Our only goal right now is tomorrow's match."

Mourinho added that he knew Kerem Aktürkoğlu, whose transfer is on the agenda, but that the football player is a Benfica player.

Yellow-dark blue player Milan Skriniar stated that "the tour is in the middle".

Recalling their first-leg defeat, Skriniar said, "We know what awaits us tomorrow. It will be a tough match. I think the tournament is in sight, and with the support of our fans, we can make it."

Stating that he met with coach Jose Mourinho throughout the transfer period, Skrinar said:

I have no doubt our fans will create a serious atmosphere tomorrow."

Skriniar concluded by saying, "It doesn't matter who plays or whether we play with a four- or five-man system. The important thing for us is to win and improve as a team. We're trying to develop these skills in training. The most important thing for us is to win and advance to the next round."
