The International Football Association Board (IFAB), which will meet in Glasgow, Scotland on March 1, is preparing to make changes to the offside rule in football.

The IFAB, which will discuss former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's proposal to give offside if the attacking player's body is completely in front of the last man, will decide on this proposal at a meeting to be held. If the IFAB accepts Wenger's proposal, millimetric offside decisions will be consigned to history.

Apart from this, the announcement of all decisions made by the referees after the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) warning to the stadium will also be on the agenda. In addition, the option of requesting VAR to the technical directors will be discussed at the meeting. Thus, the Challenger rule will be put into practice in football, as in tennis.
