YouTube's new player is rolling out to all users

YouTube is rolling out its new video player, which it describes as "cleaner and more expressive," starting this week on mobile, web, and TV platforms. This new interface , likened to Apple's Liquid Glass design, features a much cleaner, more transparent look.
According to YouTube, the new design offers a more visually pleasing viewing experience with updated control buttons and modern icons, while also offering an interface that lessens the impact of the video content. The new design, which began testing earlier this year, features translucent, rounded buttons. However, this transparency effect is quite subtle compared to Apple's "Liquid Glass" look.
A simpler and simplified interface
The new player not only improves its appearance but also its usability. Double-tapping to skip a video now works in a more streamlined and less disruptive way. There's also a redesigned system for replying to comments, making scrolling through replies more streamlined and focused.
YouTube has also added small but nice details on the interaction side: When you press the like button on some videos, you will now be able to see dynamic effects, such as animations in the form of notes in a music video.
