The Turkish National Basketball Team defeated Greece by a large margin in the semi-finals of the 2025 European Basketball Championship (EuroBasket 2025).
Playing a historic match for the first time in 24 years, the Crescent Stars defeated Greece 68-94, earning a place in the final. The Turkish national team, who played dominantly from start to finish in the match played in Riga, the Latvian capital, virtually swept Greece off the field.
The 12 Giant Men put on a strong performance from the first quarter to the last, finishing the first quarter ahead 26-16, the second quarter 49-31, and the third quarter 72-51. The Crescent Stars didn't let the gap close in the final quarter either, securing a place in the finals.

The Turkish National Basketball Team, which finished the group undefeated with five wins from five, was drawn against Sweden in the Round of 16. The 12 Giant Men defeated Sweden to advance to the quarterfinals and then defeated Poland to advance to the semifinals.
