Unlicensed driver flips car! 1 dead, 4 injured

The accident took place in the rural Kızılinler Neighborhood of the Tepebaşı district. The car with the license plate 26 AIC 470, driven by Öykü Şahin, who had no license, went out of control. The driver lost control of the car, left the road, and overturned. Upon notification by witnesses, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. While the driver, Öykü Şahin, was declared dead during the first aid given by the medical teams, the passengers who were thrown from the car, AS (13), AD (13), EK (28), and the owner of the car, HD (37), were injured. After receiving first aid, the injured were taken by ambulance to Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGÜ) Faculty of Medicine Hospital and Yunus Emre State Hospital for treatment.

The body of Öykü Şahin, who died, was taken to the hospital morgue after being examined by prosecutors and gendarmerie teams. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
