TEKNOFEST Istanbul has started

TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space, and technology festival, opened its doors in Istanbul today for the 13th time. The festival, which kicked off at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, will host visitors until September 21st.
TEKNOFEST Istanbul hosts a wide range of events, from competitions and air shows to concerts and science shows. More than 565,000 teams and 1,100,000 competitors seeking to realize their dreams applied for this year's technology competitions. Competitions supporting technological development in critical areas are held in 58 main and 137 subcategories as part of the festival. Teams that pass the pre-qualifying stage will receive over 85 million Turkish Lira in financial support. The winning teams will receive over 65 million Turkish Lira in total prizes.
TEKNOFEST also showcases popular aviation and defense industry vehicles. SOLOTÜRK and Turkish Stars will perform at the festival, while F-16 fighter jets will conduct flights. The event will also feature ATAK helicopters, Hürkuş, ANKA, Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, and Bayraktar AKINCI. Turkish rock musician Kıraç will be on stage on September 19th at 7:00 PM. The festival is completely free, and visitors can register online. Entry and exit hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Public transportation is recommended for accessing the festival area.
TEKNOFEST Secretary General Muhammet Saymaz said, "We're expecting all our citizens here from September 17-21. We especially urge them to use public transportation. We're particularly busy on weekends. Everyone who is a member of NSosyal will benefit from fast-track access to both the events and the venue."
