Suicide or murder? The secrets surrounding the death of university student Büşra have been revealed one by one.

An indictment was prepared by the Nazilli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the death of Büşra Cin, a senior student studying International Relations at Adnan Menderes University's Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, who was found shot dead in the home of her 29-year-old boyfriend, Ö.K., on March 30.
In the indictment, an aggravated life sentence was requested for the detained defendant Ö.K. for the crime of premeditated murder of a woman.
Gunshot residue was detected in the shed.Reports from the Izmir Regional Criminal Police Laboratory and the Forensic Medicine Institute Izmir Group Headquarters Biology Specialization Department were added to the indictment. The Izmir Regional Criminal Police Laboratory report stated that gunshot residue was detected in the defendant's hand swab samples and on his jacket, concluding that the shot was fired from a close range.
The killer's DNA was found on the gun.In the report of the Biology Specialization Department of the Izmir Group Presidency of the Forensic Medicine Institute, it was stated that as a result of the DNA examination conducted on the biological sample taken from the outer surface of the weapon seized at the scene, DNA samples belonging to the victim and the defendant were found.
The indictment, which also includes messages between the defendant and the deceased university student on the day of the incident, states that the defendant sent a message on the night of the incident, "Everything is over, Büşra, it's over now, everything is gone."
FINDINGS REFUTING SUICIDE CLAIMSDrawing attention to the manner in which Büşra Cin was found dead, the indictment noted the following:
"If the victim had committed suicide while lying on the bed, his hands would have fallen to his side or on his body, but the victim was found with both arms bent inward, his hands touching his shoulders, and his fingers bent inward at the joints. When the facts that no suicide note was found at the scene of the crime, the presence of the defendant's gun in the house, the victim's refusal to accept his request to leave, and the defendant being the last person to see the victim alive are evaluated as a whole, it is understood that there is sufficient suspicion that he committed the crime of premeditated murder."
DEFENDANT'S "I DID NOTHING TO HURT BÜŞRA" DEFENSEThe indictment also included the statement of defendant Ö.K., who stated, "Even though Büşra and I decided to break up, and even though we argued about this decision via text, I did nothing to hurt Büşra. I do not accept the charge of premeditated murder."
