The Family Solidarity Network (ADA), founded by the victims of the March 19 operations, held its fourth meeting in Saraçhane Park.

Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu, wife of CHP presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, said, “Making freedom a bargaining chip is a betrayal of human dignity. They are trying to confuse society with perception management operations and portray innocent people as guilty. This picture reminds us of the dark days of conspiracy in the very recent past. But our nation sees the truth.”

İmamoğlu said, “Our Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer has been detained for 297 days. Our Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat has been detained for 218 days. Ekrem İmamoğlu and his colleagues have been detained for 154 days. Who can speak of justice or equality in the face of this situation? Not even an indictment has been prepared for five months. Today, people whose innocence could have been proven at the first hearing are in prison... Even those with serious illnesses are being prevented from being tried pending trial. They are in prison, while their families wait outside every day with hope and longing.”
