The 'Barrier-Free Workforce Adaptation Program' was implemented

According to a written statement from the ministry, the program, which encompasses green transformation, social services, historical and cultural activities, and other support activities from public institutions, will provide various benefits to people with disabilities. Participating citizens with disabilities who wish to work will receive training in occupational health and safety, combating addiction, improving job search skills, work ethics, motivation and stress management, interpersonal relations and effective communication, and financial literacy.
The program will be implemented by İŞKUR, and applications will be accepted through the İŞKUR platform. Citizens with disabilities who are registered with İŞKUR and meet the participation requirements and wish to apply for the program can list the postings opened in their province and apply using the "Barrier-Free İUP Application" button on the website "engelsiz.iskur.gov.tr," where postings will be published in all 81 provinces. Additionally, individuals with disabilities or, if they wish, parents of individuals with disabilities who meet the application and participation requirements will be able to benefit from the program. The program aims to benefit 10,000 citizens with disabilities. Barrier-Free İUP participants, whose total program duration is 10 months, will receive a workforce orientation program of 37.5 hours and 5 days a week for the first 4 weeks, and a maximum of 22.5 hours and 3 days a week for the following weeks. Participants in the program will receive 1,083 TL in pocket money for each day of participation, up to 15,162 TL in total for 14 days. Participants in the program will not have their disability pensions or care allowances suspended. Application requirements and details can be found on the İŞKUR website.
