Statement from MHP Deputy Chairman Yurdakul on a Terror-Free Türkiye

Yurdakul attended the opening of the Beytepe branch of the 3713 Fight Against Terrorism Heroes Association and met with veterans.

Delivering a speech here, Yurdakul emphasized that the founding purpose of the MHP was to protect the indivisible integrity of the homeland and the unity and solidarity of the Turkish nation.

Yurdakul, emphasizing the importance of martyrs, families of martyrs, and veterans, said:

The true owners of this homeland are our martyrs, their families, their loved ones, and you, our esteemed veterans. As you know, our leader and Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, has always stood by you. He has always stood by you. We were raised with this upbringing. Therefore, your place and importance are special. No matter what anyone says, the Terror-Free Turkey, which our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, launched on October 22nd, has today become a state policy, as stated by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Our martyrs and veterans are our red line.

Yurdakul stated that the memory of the martyrs and veterans would not be harmed during this process, saying, "Our only request from you is that you continue to have trust and faith in our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and our leader Devlet Bahçeli."

Yurdakul also thanked those who contributed to the opening of the association.

Okan Özalp, President of the 3713 Fight Against Terrorism Heroes Association, stated that they are following the Terrorism-Free Türkiye process with patience and fortitude.

Özalp stated that the state would not harm its own children who defended their existence by paying the price with their lives, and added:

Our association has been in direct contact with our state officials since the very beginning of the Terror-Free Turkey process, and therefore has supported it from the very beginning. As long as we thwart the schemes of external powers that pit brother against brother, which will cause us to lose more martyrs and veterans, and utilize the human and financial resources gained from this peaceful environment to build a more prosperous civilization. This is the greatest reward that can be given to our glorious ancestors and to us, the martyrs and veterans, who follow in their footsteps.
