Putin thanks Russian Muslims

According to a statement from the Kremlin, Putin received the head of the Central Religious Ministry of Muslims of Russia , Talgat Taceddin.

Pointing out that Muslims are an organic and natural part of Russia and Russian society, Putin said he was grateful to Muslim representatives and everyone who embraced Islam.

Putin stressed that representatives of Muslims and other religions contribute to the interfaith unity and harmony of the peoples of Russia.

Pointing out that at first glance Russia seems like a very complex country, but in reality it becomes stronger thanks to the diversity in society, especially when faced with certain difficulties, Putin said:

"Representatives of Muslims have always made a very significant contribution to this issue and continue to do so. These contributions to our unity and our common power effectively eliminate all difficulties and threats and allow Russia to move forward. So thank you very much."
