Last day excitement at Teknofest Blue Homeland

TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland concludes today, following events that began at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command on August 28th. As part of the festival, visitors today participated in technology competitions such as the unmanned underwater systems competition, the unmanned sea vehicle competition, and the underwater rocket competition, as well as the booth activities of stakeholders, sponsors, and participating companies. The day also featured preparation and video screenings, award-winning quizzes, science shows, a theater performance, a Janissary band concert, and band and choir performances. One of the highlights of the final day was a performance by the SAT and SAS Commands. The festival will conclude with a closing and awards ceremony.
"WE CAME TO WATCH OUR STATE'S ATTACKS IN THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY"Fırat Gül, who said he was visiting Teknofest Mavi Vatan for the first time, said, "We came to observe and support the advancements our state is making in the defense industry." Gül, noting that they were already in line to visit the TCG Anadolu, said, "Of course, the priority was to visit her, and we were first in line. Let's see her first because she's bigger, and then we'll move on to the other ships."
'A ONCE-IN-A-LIFE OPPORTUNITY'Ahmet Sadıkoğlu, who came with his father and wanted to see the TCG Anadolu, said, "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It's a good thing my father and I found it at the last minute. I'm happy I came. I don't know if I'll ever see it again."
Recep Sadıkoğlu said, "We came from Ankara just to see the TCG Anadolu and Savarona. We set off at night. We arrived here this morning. We just want to see them. It's unclear whether we'll get this opportunity again. We'll see them once in our lifetime. We came to experience our national pride. Honestly, we feel proud every time we see them. We decided to feel proud by seeing them again."
"A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SEE WHERE OUR COUNTRY HAS COMING FROM"Afşin Durmaz, visiting from Beylikdüzü, said, "Frankly, it's a great pleasure. I traveled a lot within Istanbul to get here, but it's wonderful to be here. It makes me very proud to see Türkiye preparing for the new century." Durmaz added, "On the other hand, it's a great opportunity to see what might happen here in the future, perhaps a simulation, or perhaps a glimpse of where our country has come from in the last 20 or 30 years."
