Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality President Erkem İmamoğlu made a social media post after his lawyer was detained

Detained and arrested as part of the corruption investigation, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a post on the X platform.

"ENOUGH TO ARREST MY LAWYER..."

İmamoğlu made the following statements;

"You are afraid of my picture, You are afraid of my voice, You are afraid of my words,

You are afraid of my name being mentioned…

But I didn't think that at some point you would be afraid of me defending myself, even of using my right to defend myself.

As you fail to convince people of your lies, you become more aggressive. You become so helpless that you arrest my lawyer.

"YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOW ME"

You are struggling more and more in the dark vortex that you have entered and dragged the country into.

All you have left is a handful of slanderers whose families, property, honor and dignity you threaten.

No matter what you do, you will not be able to make me bow down. You will not be able to bring this nation to its knees.

Whoever fears you should be like you."
