International collaboration against cancer from Altınbaş University

Altınbaş University announced that it hosted the Implementation Network Europe for Cancer Survivorship Care (INE-CSC) COST Action event, which aims to strengthen international collaboration in cancer research. The event will feature approximately 90 participants, including researchers from various European countries and academics from various cities in Türkiye. The local organizer of the training school is Associate Professor Dr. Nilay Aksoy, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at Altınbaş University.
The training program is designed for early career researchers and doctoral students;
“Digital solutions research methodologies,
“Developing leadership skills,
“Conducting ethical research,
“It will cover topics such as innovative approaches to symptom management throughout the cancer journey.”
Altınbaş University released a statement: "This event, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) and the European Union Horizon 2020 Framework Program, is being held within the scope of the CA21152 COST Action project. Both in-person and online participation in the training course is possible, and registration is free of charge."
The event, considered an important step to strengthen Türkiye's international cooperation in cancer research, aims to contribute to the systematic support of cancer survivors' care across Europe.
