WHAT HAPPENEDCHP Chairman Özgür Özel held a press conference on Sunday, September 6, and said that the extraordinary congress decision, which he described as a "purely technical and legal move and measure," was in line with the decisions of the Supreme Election Council, other boards, and the court.
Özel had said, "I don't think so, but if a trustee is appointed to the party's chairmanship on the 15th, that trustee will stay there for six days. Because this is a process that the party chairman cannot stop. After six days, the party will re-elect the elected chairman."
