Nihal Candan's mother reacts harshly: 'Don't try to kill Bahar too!'

Social media phenomenon Nihal Candan, who was arrested on charges of being a member of a fraud ring and released after contracting anorexia nervosa while in prison, died about a month ago after falling to 23 kilograms. Her mother, Umut Candan, who grieved for her daughter's loss, broke her silence with a social media post.

Reacting to the criticism directed at Bahar Candan, who was seen in the sea after her sister's death, the mother wrote:

"You killed Nihal, don't try to kill Bahar too. You can't know the truth from a distance. Leave Bahar alone."

The grieving mother also lashed out at Nihal's ex-husband, Faruk Çiçek, with harsh words. Sharing a message to her former son-in-law on social media, Umut Candan said:

"Did the man who sniffed out women have any sense at all... You took him for a man and got into trouble. I told him a thousand times but I couldn't get him to talk to you."
