Following IMM Affiliates President Yıldız, his driver Bayram Yıldırım also confessed

Yıldırım said, "Money would arrive at his house in a sack every two or three days. The money was brought by different people. The money continued to come after the operation. Yıldız had a large safe built at his home in Germany and transported some of the money here by plane. When we were clearing out his office, I found supermarket cards from 2023 inside the box, worth approximately 15 million Turkish Lira. Murat Keleş handled the cards, and some of the aid cards were exchanged for cash."
Ertan Yıldız, the Chairman of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Council's Subsidiaries/Affiliates Commission, was arrested on allegations that he solicited a €5 million bribe from the owners of a shopping mall in Bakırköy. As part of a municipal corruption investigation, Yıldız, along with his lawyer, gave a six-page statement before a prosecutor on May 6th to benefit from the "effective repentance" provisions. Yıldız later testified again and was released on probation, benefiting from the "effective repentance" provisions.
Following Ertan Yıldız, his driver, Bayram Yıldırım, also testified to the prosecutor's office, stating that he wanted to benefit from the effective remorse provisions. As part of the investigation, Ertan Yıldız's driver, Bayram Yıldırım, also testified. Yıldırım stated that Ertan Yıldız brought sacks of money to his house, saying, "Money would come to his house in sacks every two or three days. The money was brought by different people. The money continued to arrive after the operation. Some of the money was taken to Germany, while some was taken to a house in Bodrum. Yıldız had a large safe built at his house in Germany and transported some of the money here by plane. He also had a large safe at his summer house in Bodrum."
"He would keep his phone with him and turn on the jammer."Yıldırım, who described Fatih Keleş bringing money to private meetings, said, "A pickup truck would pull up to the residence, take the food baskets from the back, and put them back in the car, empty. Every time these baskets arrived, Mustafa Akın would also arrive and wait for an hour or an hour and a half. After Akın left, Fatih Keleş, Murat Ongun, Kadriye Hanım, and Mustafa Akın's drivers would take the money and leave. He would leave his phone in the car wherever he went, except in his office in Bakırköy. Because there was a jammer in his office at the municipal building, he would keep his phone with him and activate the jammer."
Yıldırım, explaining that some of the aid cards were converted into cash, said, "After the operation, when we evacuated Ertan Yıldız's office in the Bakırköy additional service building, I found supermarket cards dated 2023 in a box. They were worth approximately 15 million TL. They were expired and couldn't be used. I believe Yıldız left these cards in his room. Ertan Yıldız was the one actually distributing the cards until the last two years. In the last two years, these cards started going to Fatih Keleş. Murat Keleş was handling the cards. Some of these aid cards were being converted into cash through barter." Meanwhile, 4,500 supermarket card gift certificates were seized in an operation conducted by teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Branch under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
