The cast of the play "Baş Belası" (Head Belial) was involved in a traffic accident in Amasya on their way back from tour on November 21, 2022. Actors Özgür Karataş, Tolga Güleryüz, and Burak Topçu lost their lives in the accident, while Melis İşiten, Ceyhun Fersoy, and Sergen Deveci were injured.

Melis İşiten, who survived the accident with injuries, made striking statements in the Katarsis program she attended.

Hearing said that one of the reasons for the accident was that he did not want to stay in a hotel.

Hearing described what happened in the following words:

We were actually going to stay somewhere else that day; we hadn't planned on leaving at night. But I didn't like the hotel. Tolga didn't want to leave me there, so he said, 'You won't be comfortable here, you won't be able to shower. Let's drive for 45 minutes, then you can sleep.' That's why we set off. That's why I'm having the hardest time saying goodbye now.

On November 21, 2022, a vehicle carrying the actors of the play "Baş Belası" (Head Belial) collided with a truck in Merzifon, Amasya, while traveling from Çorum to Samsun. Olga Güleryüz, Burak Topçu, and Özgür Karataş lost their lives in the accident, while Melis İşiten, Ceyhun Fersoy, and Sergen Deveci were injured.
