Two people in the CHP were disciplined for their posts.

The CHP Central Executive Committee (MYK) convened yesterday under the leadership of Chairman Özgür Özel. The meeting, which lasted approximately three and a half hours, included topics such as Türkiye's economic, healthcare, foreign policy, and education problems; the CHP TBMM Group's 28th Term 3rd Working and Evaluation Meeting held in Bolu; the CHP's 39th Ordinary Congress; the trial of CHP 7th Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, scheduled for October 17; and the CHP's "National Will Defends" rally in Brussels on October 12. According to reports, CHP Deputy Chairman Zeliha Aksaz Şahbaz made a presentation at the MYK regarding the detention of sick prisoners. A presentation on foreign policy was made by the Deputy Chairman responsible for foreign policy, which works under the coordination of Deputy Chairman Namık Tan.
KILIÇDAROĞLU CASE
The case, which combines five separate files filed against CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu for "insulting the president," will be heard on Friday, October 17th, at the Ankara 25th High Criminal Court. Kılıçdaroğlu will appear again on October 17th, when CHP leader Özel will be in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, to attend the congress of the Party of European Socialists (PES). According to reports, Özel emphasized the importance of the case, stating that the process must be followed through to the end at the Central Executive Committee (MYK). Özel instructed a large delegation to attend the hearing, which will take place on October 17th, saying, "We will definitely follow up on it." The staff stated, "Our Chairman is abroad, but there will be participation from our party at the highest level."
7 PEOPLE DID NOT PARTICIPATE
CHP officials also stated that they evaluated the 28th Term Third Working and Evaluation Meeting of the CHP Parliamentary Group held in Bolu at the Central Executive Committee, saying, "It was a very successful and informative camp. It was a positive event that also had a positive impact on the public." According to reports, seven members of parliament did not attend the camp. Two of them were unable to attend due to health issues.
The staff stated that two of the MPs who were unable to attend had cited health issues as an excuse, and that they believed the other MPs who were unable to attend also had valid excuses. The staff stated that the CHP Parliamentary Group's 28th Term 3rd Working and Evaluation Meeting was held with unity and solidarity, a response to those who sought to create the appearance of division within the CHP.
ORDINARY CONGRESS
The CHP's staff stated that the schedule for the 39th Ordinary Congress continues, with district congresses now complete and provincial congresses already underway. Following the completion of the provincial congresses, the Ordinary Congress will be held in the last week of November or early December. The staff stated, "We will have completed 79 provincial congresses on October 9th. We have two provinces, and those will be on the 21st. By the evening of October 21st, we will have held congresses in all 81 provinces, elected new administrations and new congress delegates, and effectively exhausted the life of the old one."
SECOND INTERNATIONAL Rally
CHP leader Özel, who will prioritize international travel starting in October, will first attend the Socialist International Presidents' Council meeting in Madrid, Spain, on October 9-10. He will then hold a "Nation Stands by Its Will" rally in Brussels, Belgium, on Sunday, October 12. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will meet with Turkish voters in Brussels. Özel will also be in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, from October 16-18 to attend the congress of the Party of European Socialists (PES). Discussing the CHP's first international rally, which will be held in Brussels, officials said, "There is also a request from Germany for a rally. We may hold a rally there in December."
