The tension in Syria was short-lived! A ceasefire was reached in Aleppo.

The Aleppo Governor's Office announced that all educational and public institutions in the city have been suspended as of October 7. Interior Ministry Spokesperson Nureddin Baba also announced that 25 civilians were injured as a result of attacks by the Syrian Democratic Forces.
MAZLUM ABDI AND AHMED SHARA WILL MEET TODAY
Meanwhile, the US President's Special Representative for Syria and Ambassador to Ankara, Tom Barrack, who is in Rojava, met with SDF General Commander Mazlum Abdi yesterday.
According to Rûdaw’s Rojava sources, it was stated that the planned tripartite meeting between Mazlum Abdi and Syrian Transitional Government President Ahmed Shara, mediated by Barrack, was not affected by the developments in Aleppo and that the meeting will take place today as planned.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The SDF targeted the vegetable market and the area surrounding the Rahman Mosque in Bustan al-Qasr, Aleppo's city center, with mortar attacks. Numerous civilians were injured in the attacks by SDF elements stationed in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods of Aleppo.
Clashes were heard from many points in Aleppo city center, and civilians fled to safe areas. HTS security forces sent military reinforcements to the areas where clashes were taking place and increased security measures throughout the city.
In a statement made by the Syrian Ministry of Defense's Media and Communication Department to the Syrian official news agency SANA, it was stated that "We are committed to the March 10 Agreement and have no intention of any military operation."
SANA reported that one security personnel was killed and three were injured as a result of the SDF's security forces targeting checkpoints.
