Kilicdaroglu broke his silence

Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made a statement regarding the allegations regarding the investigation into the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress.

Kılıçdaroğlu said that he had received threats in a post he made on his X account. Kılıçdaroğlu said, "I have been receiving clear threats against my life security. There are those who threaten to hang me from an electric pole, and those who want me to be shot."

"Our Silence is Not Silence, It is Responsibility…

On November 20, 2023, just two weeks after our 38th Congress, some allegations regarding the congress began to be reflected in the public. In the video I published that day, I clearly and resolutely expressed everything that was necessary to protect our party.

However, since that day, I have been subjected to a systematic lynching campaign by troll accounts that operate in the dark by hiding their identities.

I am receiving clear threats to my life safety.

There are those who threaten to hang me from an electric pole, and those who want me to be shot…

Threats, slander and dirty campaigns have come together.

We are faced with a broad front, ranging from fake social media accounts to funded so-called academics and some journalists who pollute their profession with slander and manipulation.

And unfortunately, some politicians who once stood by me for the sake of their political fortunes, who once considered it a pride to walk with me, but have now been scattered to other channels, have joined this chorus.

They all unanimously demand that I speak on a subject about which I have no knowledge and no involvement.

However, we have to walk without deviating from the true agenda of this nation.

We must rely on what is public, not personal; on the truth, not gossip.

I am a politician who speaks to the people, not through polemics.

And anyone who knows me knows that if there is a truth, I will never hesitate to express it without distorting it, without hesitation, and with an upright stance.

I say to those who will hang me on poles, shoot me, burn me, stone me, not allow me to take a single step, and to the lamas: He who fears you is more cowardly than you.

I hereby openly address everyone who is waiting for a message from me:

Let everyone know that we are capable of drowning the enemies of this party in the sacred sanctuary of this party."
