KEREM DEMİRBAY'S FAREWELL TO GALATASARAY Kerem Demirbay's farewell statement is as follows:
"Wearing the Galatasaray jersey, being a part of this family… It was one of the most special periods of my life. I was proud to be a member of dedicated lives.
You called me "Uncle" and I tried to live up to that name as much as I could. Sometimes we laughed and sometimes we were sad. But whatever happened, it was sincere. It was real.
You respected the values that made me who I am, you embraced me without trying to change my character. This is not something that every football player can experience. That's why I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart; everyone who has worked hard for this club, this jersey, our managers, our coach, our technical team, our workers who have dedicated their days and nights to this club and most importantly, our incredible fans.
In football, sometimes things may not go the way we want. It's in the nature of the job. But what's important is how you walk that path... I walked this path upright, without bending.
From now on, it's another path, another struggle. But Galatasaray will always be "home" for me and my family.
I came, I saw, I fought. And now, I leave with my head held high. But some stories not only end, they leave a deep mark.
Goodbye."
Uncle"
