He went with a urinary complaint and a giant tumor was found in his testicle!

A 20-centimeter-diameter tumor was detected in the testicle of a 66-year-old patient living in Kahramanmaraş.
The delayed detection of the mass, which had spread to the abdominal area, complicated the patient's treatment process. Urology and Andrology Specialist Dr. Mustafa Yeter stated that men should regularly examine themselves, just as they would with breast cancer, to prevent similar complications.
"THE PATIENT HID HIS COMPLAINTS, AND THE MASS SPREAD TO THE ABDOMEN"Dr. Yeter explained that the patient had noticed a mass in his testicle for about six months but had been keeping it a secret. "When he came to us, he only had urinary complaints," he said. "During a general examination, we discovered a mass in his left testicle measuring approximately 20 centimeters. Tests revealed that this mass had spread to the abdominal cavity and other organs."
"EXAMINE YOURSELF"Dr. Yeter, noting that the patient had previously visited various health centers but had not openly voiced his complaints, said , "A simple examination early on could have made this process much easier. Unfortunately, our patient was only evaluated in detail after the disease had spread."
Dr. Yeter emphasized that testicular tumors in men usually appear as painless masses and are not difficult to detect , saying, "Just like breast cancer, men should examine themselves periodically. If a suspicious mass is noticed, consult a physician without hesitation or delay. Furthermore, our clinician colleagues should not skip a general physical examination. Many diseases can be detected early with just a careful examination. This speeds up the diagnosis process and makes treatment easier."
Dr. Yeter stated that the surgically removed tumor was sent for pathological examination, adding that appropriate oncological treatment would be initiated for the patient following the results.
