He went to the hospital complaining of abdominal pain: The injection ruined his life! He can't get a diagnosis.

Aytaç Öztürk, who works at a local newspaper in the city, went to Atatürk State Hospital Emergency Service on August 27th complaining of abdominal pain. Öztürk was discharged after receiving a painkiller injection in his left hip. Shortly thereafter, he began experiencing pain in his left leg. When the pain became unbearable, he was taken to Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Hospital by ambulance on August 31st.
Öztürk, who stated he was unable to put any weight on his left leg, was placed in a cast due to swelling. While his condition remains undiagnosed, Öztürk suspects he may have received an incorrect injection. His treatment continues at BEUN Hospital's Brain and Nerve Disease Surgery Clinic.
Öztürk, who stated that he could not put any pressure on his leg after receiving the injection, explained that he had spoken to the Chief Physician of Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital on the phone and said:
"What's causing this?" I asked. "Such things can happen in these situations. However, if it continues, it might be beneficial to see a physical therapist again," he told me. I woke up on Sunday and couldn't get out of bed at all. I was practically crawling around the house, unable to even go to the bathroom. So, we called an ambulance, and they brought me to BEUN Hospital.
We spent a lot of time in the emergency room. I couldn't get from the stretcher to a regular chair. I couldn't put my foot down. The moment I did, I screamed; I was in absolute pain. It was shooting through my hip, my foot was swollen, and I had swelling. We think it was from the injection.
I've been receiving treatment since Sunday. I had a splint and cast on my foot. They removed the splint and cast, and now they'll use a different system. We'll continue with physical therapy, but I don't know if it will work. I've been receiving IV fluids, medication, and injections since Sunday. We haven't yet progressed to physical therapy. They're examining my foot. There's no diagnosis yet.
Aytaç Öztürk, who is waiting for a diagnosis and a report for his problem, said, "If this is truly the case, I'm a journalist, but even if another citizen were to go, I want what's necessary to prevent this from happening to anyone else. If there's any truth to this, I will file a complaint and fight to the end. I can't walk, I can't put my foot down, and I'm screaming."
Reached by phone by a DHA reporter, Zonguldak Provincial Health Director Mustafa Özkan Gün said, "We are monitoring the process. It's too early to say whether there's a problem or not. We are monitoring the treatment process. I will make a detailed statement after the treatment is completed. Necessary action will be taken based on the results."
