Death toll in Ödemiş fire rises to 3!

The fire that broke out in the Ödemiş district of İzmir on July 2 was brought under control in 48 hours.
Trapped in a house due to the fire, 81-year-old bedridden patient İbrahim Erkan and dozer operator İbrahim Demir, who was working at the Konya Forestry Regional Directorate, lost their lives during the fire response.
Beydağ Forest Management Directorate personnel driver Ragıp Şahin, who was seriously injured in the pickup truck he was using while fighting the fire, was taken to hospital. It was learned that Şahin, a 45-year-old father of four, could not be saved despite all interventions in the hospital and lost his life. With Şahin's death, the number of people who lost their lives in the Ödemiş fire rose to 3.
