Reyhan S., known as Chef Reyhan from a cooking show she participated in, was implicated in a multi-million dollar scam. Details of the operation, conducted by teams from the Public Security Branch's Fraud Bureau, have become a hot topic.

He opened a restaurant in Istanbul

According to allegations, Reyhan S., known as Chef Reyhan, befriended and became friendly with visitors to her Istanbul restaurant. She told them that her religiously married husband was a lawyer and that she could handle everything from obtaining gun licenses to leasing treasury-owned land that had lost its forest status, cheaply and easily.

A 28.5 MILLION TL DEFEAT

According to a report by Habertürk reporter Mustafa Şekeroğlu, four individuals who met Reyhan Şef's wife, MSS, through this referral, paid a total of 28.5 million lira under the promise of leasing land. When MSS, who received the money, failed to fulfill his promises, the victims filed complaints. Following the complaint, teams from the Public Security Branch's Fraud Bureau detained Reyhan Şef and his wife, MSS, in Çekmeköy.

A LUXURY VEHICLE WORTH 12 MILLION WITH THE MONEY OF THE HIT

The detained couple allegedly used the 12 million lira in proceeds to buy themselves a luxury car. After completing their procedures at the Gayrettepe Public Security Branch, the couple were referred to the courthouse.

RELEASED

While Reyhan S. was released on probation, her husband MSS was arrested and sent to prison.
