A clash broke out during a drug operation! One police officer was injured.

The incident occurred in the Karaçulha neighborhood. Fethiye Narcotics Department teams launched an operation targeting suspects living in an apartment building as part of their efforts to target drug dealers throughout the city. During the operation, the suspects opened fire, leading to a shootout. The gunfire caused alarm in the area, and police special operations teams were dispatched to the scene. One police officer was injured during the approximately four-hour operation.

NO LIFE THREATENING

The police officer was taken to hospital and is reported to be in non-life-threatening condition. Five suspects were taken into custody following the shooting. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
