Turkish startups attracted great attention at The Next Web Conference

Nine technology startups from different sectors from Türkiye took part in the TNW Conference, the largest technology and entrepreneurship event in the Benelux region.

"The Next Web is a technology event that we have attended for the first time in the Netherlands. We have previously participated in different events in countries such as France, Finland and Portugal. This time, as the Presidency's Investment and Finance Office, we brought nine of our technology startups to Amsterdam. Three of them made it to the finals in the competition held as part of the event and won the right to present among the top 10 startups."
Polat drew attention to the progress Türkiye has made in the field of entrepreneurship and noted the following:
"In the last four years, Turkish technology startups have received a total of $5 billion in investments. With our young, dynamic and technology-focused talent pool, as well as the opportunities we offer, Turkey is an attractive country for investors. Such events are extremely valuable in terms of our startups gaining visibility in the international arena."
Türkiye's Consul General in Amsterdam, Mahmut Burak Ersoy, also visited the event and met with Turkish initiatives and received information about their fields of activity.
Ersoy made evaluations to entrepreneurs about investment opportunities and possibilities in Europe, particularly in the Netherlands.
Three Turkish startups operating in the media and technology fields were among the 10 startups that made it to the finals in the competition held as part of the event.
Throughout the conference, startups from many countries had the opportunity to introduce their products and services to international participants in areas such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, innovation and digitalization.
