The lifeless body of a worker trapped under a rubble in Silivri was found.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 29th around 4:00 PM in a sand pit in the Büyükkılıçlı neighborhood. According to reports, a landslide occurred while a construction machine was working inside the pit. The ground gave way due to the weight of the machine, trapping an excavator operator under the mud. Following the report, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency), UMKE (National Emergency Management Presidency), the Silivri Municipality Search and Rescue Team (SAK), fire department, healthcare, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. During the rescue efforts to rescue Turkmen national Mansur Ajatov, who was trapped under the mud, the excavator was first located. The excavator operator's body was recovered 72 hours later. The operator's body, found inside the excavator cabin, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue after the prosecutor on duty examined the excavator.
