President Erdoğan will inaugurate 50 projects in Sultanbeyli

Before the ceremony, Sultanbeyli Mayor Ali Tombaş met with members of the press to share information about the investments they have completed in the past year and a half. Tombaş stated that they have been working tirelessly since taking office, saying, "We have been working diligently since day one to create rapid and lasting solutions to the needs of our citizens. We are implementing projects that will advance Sultanbeyli in many areas, from education and sports to transportation and urban transformation. Today, we are delighted to have completed 50 projects and to be inaugurating them with the presence of our President."
"Urban transformation is our priority"Tombaş emphasized the importance they place on urban transformation projects, saying, "Earthquakes are a reality in our country. In this context, we established our subsidiary company, SULKON, to accelerate transformation in our district. We launched a 404-unit project in the Battalgazi neighborhood. We also signed the protocol for a 710-unit urban transformation project in the Mimar Sinan neighborhood. Thus, we have completed 1,114 residences in just one and a half years."
Tombaş stated that the new Mehmet Akif Sports Complex will have a construction area of 26,000 square meters and added, "With a semi-Olympic pool, volleyball and basketball courts, a 2,000-seat stand, and social living areas, it will be one of the largest sports complexes in Türkiye."
Youth and social life projectsTombaş, reminding everyone that Istanbul is one of the districts with the largest young population, stated that they place special emphasis on youth projects. Noting that the Hasanpaşa Youth Center is complete and the Hamidiye Youth Center project has begun, Tombaş said, "We give achievement awards to young people who enter university. We provide 12,000 TL in support for undergraduate programs and 8,000 TL for associate degrees. Our subscription support also continues."
Noting that they have created living spaces intertwined with nature, Tombaş said, "We have opened the 140,000-square-meter Fetih Grove and the 110,000-square-meter Aydos Grove to our citizens. We will increase the number of Aydos Cafes, which attract great interest from young people."
Mayor Tombaş also stated that they have developed special projects for the TEKNOFEST generation, saying, "We opened our Sultanbeyli Science Center, which provides training in a wide range of areas, from robotic coding to artificial intelligence. We launched the Sultanbeyli Daycare service for our children. We distributed free stationery sets to students who have just started school." Tombaş also stated that they established the Compost Production Facility with a Zero Waste vision, adding, "We created a living space for the treatment of stray animals. We are expanding our free fitness centers to neighborhoods under the Sultanbeyli FİT brand. We provide 24/7 service to our citizens with SULMEK courses and the new communication center, SIMER."
Answering questions from journalists after the press conference, Mayor Tombaş shared information about the preparations being carried out at the rally area where the ceremony will be held.
