Latest status on the Ministry of Justice promotion agreement: How much will the 2025 promotion payment be?
Tenders for the Ministry of Justice employees' promotion payments for the three-year period spanning 2025-2028 were held on August 18th, and bids were submitted. However, Vakıfbank's 90,000 TL offer prevailed. The employee representative, Adalet Sen, deemed the amount insufficient. The tender date for the promotion was postponed, but no date has yet been announced. Minister Tunç stated that negotiations are ongoing. The Ministry of Justice promotions are expected to be finalized before the end of September.
Justice Union had announced a proposal outlining its demands. Accordingly, a one-time, upfront payment of at least 150,000 TL per person,

More than 200,000 Ministry employees last received a 25,000 TL bonus in 2022. A minimum of 150,000 TL in bonuses is being requested to make up for the loss incurred over the past three years. Considering all requests and offers, employees are expected to receive a minimum of 100,000 TL in bonus payments by October.
