Kagithane Municipality provides moral support to students before YKS

Kağıthane Municipality did not leave young people dreaming of university alone before the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). Gift packages were prepared for students residing in the district and taking the exam for morale and motivation purposes. Kağıthane Municipality teams went door to door to deliver packages containing stationery products, notebooks and chocolates to students. This gesture aimed to reduce students' stress and motivate them before the exam. On the other hand, Kağıthane Municipality covered the exam fees of thousands of students this year. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the municipality paid the YKS application fees of a total of 4,421 students.

Kağıthane Mayor Mevlüt Öztekin wished success to the youth and said, "As every year, we continue to support our youth who will take the YKS this year as well. It is important for us to be by their side and increase their motivation during the exam process. Our greatest wish is for them to get into the departments they dream of and to become happy individuals in the future. Our support will continue to increase when they enter university."
