Istanbul Airport Becomes Europe's Busiest Airport

The "European Aviation Report" for June 9-15 by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) has been published.

According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe with an average of 1,591 flights per day during this period.

Istanbul Airport was followed by Amsterdam Schiphol with 1,446 daily flights, Paris Charles de Gaulle with 1,389 flights, Frankfurt with 1,380 flights and London Heathrow airports with 1,346 flights.
