The bank's written statement said, "A statement has been felt necessary to make regarding the false allegations and rumors that have been made linking our bank and its subsidiaries to a recent legal process." The statement reads, "Any publications, comments, posts, and claims that link our bank, which strictly fulfills its obligations under the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) legislation, to and target it with money laundering, financing of terrorism, and similar illegal transactions clearly constitute crimes according to the law." The statement also warned, "The false allegations and rumors made about our bank negatively affect not only our institution but also the capital markets, numerous domestic and foreign investors, and therefore our country's economy."

The statement emphasized that those who attempt to damage the bank's reputation are committing a crime, and added, "We would like to inform the public that we have used all our legal rights against those who harm our bank's reputation and reputation, spread rumors, make comments in this direction, and will continue to do so in the future."
