The Turkish Consulate General in Erbil organized a concert to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the Republic.
The concert, held in the conference hall of the Erbil International Maarif School under the auspices of the Turkish Consulate General in Erbil, was attended by Sefin Dizayi, Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG); Aydın Maruf, Member of the Political Bureau of the Iraqi Turkmen Front and Minister of Ethnic and Religious Formations of the KRG, as well as many representatives of political and diplomatic missions and guests.

🔹 AA Live for instant developmentsTürkiye's Consul General in Erbil, Erman Topçu, who hosted the concert, told an Anadolu Agency (AA) reporter that the concert was organized as part of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.

Topçu stated that they had a wonderful evening in Erbil, saying, "As part of the 102nd anniversary celebrations of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, we hosted our world-renowned guitarist Bilal Karaman and his band in Erbil. We enjoyed a wonderful concert that combined the free rhythms of jazz with the melodies of Anatolia, using the concept of "Manouche Ala Turca."
Topçu emphasized the vast common and human bonds in the region, saying, "We live under the same sun, on the same land. We share the same tastes, the same culture, the same flavors. Much more investment needs to be made in these human bonds. We tried to do just that. We had a wonderful evening with our citizens from the Republic of Turkey, including Kurds, Turkmens, Arabs, Christians, and others. I owe a debt of gratitude to our beloved artist and everyone who contributed."

Jazz artist Bilal Karaman stated that he has been involved in music for 35 years and has given concerts in more than 30 countries, and made the following statement:
I'm so happy to be in Erbil. The concert was organized by our Consul General, Erman Topçu. Güler Tuncer was on vocals, İlker Görgülü on violin, Ersin Erçin on acoustic guitar, and Mikail Taşkol on double bass. I'd like to thank everyone who attended.
