Sarıçam Mayor Bilal Uludağ told an AA correspondent that the life story of Ferdi Tayfur, who grew up in the Çukurova region and rose from nothing to the top, would be an example for everyone.
Uludağ stated that MHP Chairman Bahçeli instructed that Ferdi Tayfur's story be passed on to future generations and immortalized, and that every detail of the museum was prepared meticulously in this context.
Uludağ said, "The museum was designed to accurately depict the artist's life from birth to death. It is perhaps one of the most important personal museums. Every object and structure has a story that tells the artist's life."
Uludağ stated that the project was started while Ferdi Tayfur was alive and that they planned to hold the opening ceremony with the artist, and added:
Due to Ferdi Tayfur's untimely passing, we were unable to complete the project while he was still alive. We will be holding the opening ceremony with his family on Saturday, September 13th. All his fans will have the opportunity to learn more about Ferdi Tayfur's life here. This will be a hub for Ferdi Tayfur fans in Türkiye and around the world.
Uludağ added that Ferdi Tayfur's close friend Ahmet Selçuk İlkan will also take the stage at the museum's opening.
