The ballet 'Swan Lake' was staged at the AKM

The ballet "Swan Lake" staged by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet (IDOB) met with the audience at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) Türk Telekom Opera Hall.
According to a statement from IDOB, the premiere, which took place at the AKM, featured Berfu Elmas as "Odette-Odile ," Batur Büklü as "Prince Siegfried ," Mehmet Nuri Arkan as "Rothbart ," Yılmaz Berkay Günay as "Benno ," Merve Erdier and Gizem Atik Tuncay as "2 girlfriends ," Can Bezirganoğlu as "The Clown, " Meriç Sümen as "The Queen , " Alper Akalın as "The Wolfgang," and Alkış Peker as "The Accompanist."
Composed by the famous composer Tchaikovsky in 1875-1876, the work, consisting of four acts, was first performed at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow on March 4, 1877, with choreography by Julius Reisinger.
The work premiered at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg on January 15, 1895, with original choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.
The İDOB Orchestra, conducted by İbrahim Yazıcı, also took the stage in the work, which was staged with Ricardo Amarante's choreography based on Petipa and Ivanov's version and presented with Tchaikovsky's emotional and magnificent music.
The work will meet art lovers again at the AKM Türk Telekom Opera Hall tomorrow and on October 30 and November 1, 12 and 13.
