Jazz Concerts on the Princes' Islands begin on September 19

Jazz on the Islands , chosen as the Best Music Festival by Radio Boğaziçi, is being held for the third time this year on September 19-21 with the theme of " Tastes Lingering on the Palate ."
The Jazz on the Islands Festival, where both islanders and visitors will enjoy the summer with jazz music, will host powerful names in concerts at Büyükada Stone School, Büyükada Atatürk Square , and Heybeliada , as well as on the Paşabahçe Ferry . The festival will host concerts by Alp Ersönmez, Asena Akan, Berke Köymen&Timebanders, Bilal Karaman, Ayhan Sicimoğlu ft. Latin All Stars, Burhan Öçal, Cenk Erdoğan Trio, Çağrı Sertel, Ece Göksu, Egemen Tosunbaş, Elif Canfeza Gündüz Quartet, Eylül Biçer, Hakan Başar, Islandman, İmer Demirer, Jen Session, Jülide Özçelik, Kaan Çelen Quartet, Nedim Ruacan, Nilüfer Verdi, Öner Karaçuha Quartet, and Pesus . The concerts will start at 18:30 every evening and continue until 00:00.
The festival, where the tastes, sounds, and memories of the past will be revisited with the joy of the present, will also feature talks, workshops, masterclasses, gastronomic gatherings, and island tours. The Stone School's gardening activities will feature talks on a variety of topics, including the new communal life shaped by the invisible effects of the climate crisis; the cultural, aesthetic, and personal meanings of collecting; the adventure of independent radio in Türkiye; and the story of Türkiye's first jazz album. The Stone School will also feature events such as "Improvised Body Percussion Workshop for Children," "Gardening Practices," "Island Scents," "Fretted Guitar in Jazz Masterclass," "Re-Create Toys Upcycling Toy Workshop," and "Jazz Vocal Masterclass."
