Eric Kripke announces... The Boys saga ends: Filming completes

The excitement for the final season of The Boys, a series that drew attention with its dark humor and harsh superhero critique, adapted from the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, has begun.

The series, starring famous names such as Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara and Nathan Mitchell, will bid farewell to the screens with its fifth season.

"I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO SEE THE GRAND FINALE"

Eric Kripke, one of the creators of the series, announced on his social media account that filming for the final season has been completed. Sharing a photo from the set, Kripke said:

"I will never come back to this set. It will be destroyed soon. This moment can only be described in one word: gratitude. We had a great cast, a great crew, and an incredibly fun story. And then we hit the unpredictable: the right timing. If you can hit even two of these in your career, you're lucky. We had them all. Thank you to The Boys family, I love you all. To the fans: thank you for watching, can't wait for you to see the big finale."

The release date of the final season has not been officially announced yet.

EMMY NOMINATIONS AND AWARDS WINNED

The Boys tells the extraordinary story of a group of ordinary people – some with superpowers – who fight against corrupt heroes who use their superpowers solely for their own benefit.

The series has been nominated for an Emmy Award seven times to date, and in 2023, it crowned its success by winning an Emmy for "Outstanding Stunt Coordination in a Drama Series."
