Warning from Mansur Yavaş to citizens: Be careful

Heavy downpours are expected in Ankara this evening. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş warned residents of the expected heavy rain.

Yavaş, in a statement on social media, stated that crews are ready and said, “Dear Ankara residents, according to the latest assessments, intermittent rainfall is expected throughout Ankara today. Localized moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in the city center. Localized heavy downpours are expected in the outlying districts, particularly in Haymana and the surrounding area. Our crews are on high alert. I urge our citizens to be vigilant and cautious against any negative consequences.”
